There are also times when Bias technology is more appropriate than the complete power supply module. In these instances, Bias is interested in establishing a partnering relationship. 

Specific applications will be very high volume where benefits of small size and/or low no-load power and/or parallel-redundant operation and/or ability to handle highly capacitive loads and/or high efficiency is/are of great importance.

Because of its circuit design, Bias Power AC to DC modules are unique among switching power supplies in their ability to charge super capacitors (ultra capacitors).  Most other switchers "see" super capacitors as a short circuit and shut down.  So, there is no need to use larger, less efficient linear power supplies to charge super capacitors.

For high-volume consumer applications, the physical design of the Bias Power AC-DC supply can be altered to fit special space, configuration or environmental requirements.  Just tell us what you need!
