Bias Power designs and manufactures state-of-the-art low-wattage AC to DC power supplies for a wide variety of applications.
Based on a patented design, these miniature switching power supplies offer a simple path to Energy Star standby power, low-power AC/DC or special AC/DC power needs. Global-market ready, each complies with UL, CSA, VDE and other requirements, and meet or exceed "green" efficiency standards. No external EMI filters are required.
Applications for Bias Power supplies are widespread, including powering remote and networked sensors, power-line carrier, relay drivers, test equipment, IR receivers, building automation, audio, video, security, AC power adapters and bias supplies. They are exceptionally well suited for standby mode applications in appliances and consumer electronics, providing power to system clocks, processors, IR remote receivers, membrane keypads and LED panel lighting.
A growing applications is as a power source for LED room illumination and exterior lighting. Also closely related are applications in lighting control.
